Solasta Winery was founded by Lithuanian-born winemaker and entrepreneur Rasa Mitkus with a simple vision: to bring people together over approachable, thoughtfully crafted Michigan wine, in a space that feels welcoming, relaxed and memorable.

Our name means “luminous, shining,” a nod to the sun’s brilliance. Every bottle unites grapes from the Lake Michigan Shore wine-growing region, often called the Hamptons of the Midwest.

At our tasting room in Sawyer you can taste through a flight, settle in by the fire pits on the patio or catch live music on Sundays. Plan your visit, browse our wines, or join the wine club to have new Solasta Winery releases waiting for you four times a year.
